After 5 weeks without it, Rockwall’s Chick-Fil-A is open again, And this time, it’s better, newer, faster, and stronger.

A month of remodel updated the Rockwall Chick-Fil-A, and modernized it for the coming age. It now has a fully remodeled drive-thru as well as inside.

But complications have come about, during and after the remodel.

“I don’t like it,” said senior Carley Butler. “There’s not as much privacy, seating wise. I do like the drive-thru, though, because it helps the employees as the seasons change, keeping them cool in the summer and warm in the winter.”

Not everyone has enjoyed the up-to-date restaurant. But most have enjoyed the automatic trash cans.

“It would be better if they would have added more parking, but the majority of the people go through the drive thru, so the inside renovations seem unnecessary,” included Carley.

No matter what it looks like, what matters most is that Rockwall’s Chick-Fil-A is fully operational again. For some, it was hard to go a full month without it. For others, it wasn’t that missed.

“It wasn’t hard for me to go a month without it. I actually made it a goal to not eat it until they were open again, staying loyal to my Rockwall Chick-Fil-A,” said Carley.

So whoever you are, whatever you may be doing, stop by the new and improved store and let it impress you. Even though the restaurant may be different, the chicken is still the comfort food we’ve come to know and love.
