Stress or reality? // Gearing up for prom and graduation, seniors are overwhelmed with due dates and forms to sign. Seniors have been finding it hard to gain motivation when finishing the rest of school year strong. Senior Kassidy Turner said, “I push through senioritis because I know that I only have 2 months left and I’m trying to make the most of it.”

It’s in the genes // Rhonda Giadolor, pictured here with fellow teammate, Makayha Jenkins, freshman. Rhonda, who plays many sports, says that she gets her athletic ability from her family. “Truly my love for sports came from my brothers. My whole life I watched them plays sports like basketball and run track and because of that, I had a strong urge to go out of my way and play sports also. I believe that being apart of a sports team in school is one of the best feelings to experience.” said Rhonda Giadolor, sophomore.

Flipping with pride // The Lady Hawks gymnasts took the honor of District Champions this past week against Rockwall and several other schools. Several members of the team placed in multiple categories from all over the state. “It was such a great feeling to win districts. My vault score even contributed towards the team score! It was a meet where we pushed ourselves and it showed, and that made winning that much sweeter, said Kate Seifer, sophomore.

Visually appealing? // The dairy free pizza (bottom) can not even compare to the regular pizza at this Dallas restaurant. Not only did the cheese feel like glue, but it cost almost $5 more than the normal pizza.
