Expressing creativity// Heath High School is one of the 21 schools that is represented in the 2019 Rockwall ISD District Art Show. Families and friends can come view the art of students throughout all of Rockwall. “The District Art show is an amazing opportunity that enables the students of Rockwall ISD to showcase their artwork to the community. I really enjoy seeing the entire district coming together exhibiting various forms of art, both 2D and 3d, from K-12th grade,” said Julia Deleon.

Hold on, kid // At the top of Peach Tree Hill in Crested Butte, Colorado’s ski resort, beginner snowboarders and skiiers alike flail and master the basics. “Even though skiing was fun, my favorite part of the trip was watching my dad watch the final episode of ‘The Bachelor’. He said, “I’ve never cried as much as Colton did in that one episode during my whole life.” He loved the show though,” said Caroline Bloom, sophmore.

For the win// Getting a perfect score all across the board, the varsity choir returns with a winning prize. The UIL trophy stands tall and proud in the choir room for those to admire. Kathleen Couch said, “It felt so amazing to get sweepstakes! I've never gotten straight 1's with our Chorale at Heath before and last year we worked extra hard to make it happen. I remember the feeling of Mrs. Smith announcing our scores and everyone freaking out! We always work hard and sing our best, but it's great to hear it from judges who really know music.”
